Senior Product Designer
I do my best work in live products, with a team, under real limits. I care as much about what we don't ship as what we do, and I try to bring people with me either way.
At Interface.ai I joined as the first product designer in the US, and I'm still the only designer on Assemble, Employee AI, Chat AI, and Voice AI. I rebuilt the Assemble system, redesigned Employee AI from scratch, and carried those chat patterns into Chat AI so knowledge and transactions could stay one experience. Before that I spent eight years at RingCentral on the unified app: messaging, video, phone, and the admin portal. I learned to ship under real engineering limits, not adjacent to them.
I run. Softball and kickball when I can. Weekends in the kitchen, usually sourdough or pizza. I studied Engineering Psychology at Tufts. How people make decisions is still the job.

What I enjoy most about improving product experiences
Interaction design
Understanding a product's landscape is how new features land without seams — and how you find what's already broken.
Prototyping
Bringing a concept to life proves the flow, surfaces flaws, and gives you something real to test with users.
Storytelling
Even the best solution fails if you can't get buy-in. Designs have to be communicated, not just delivered.
Visual design
It belongs in ideation, not at the end. Visual decisions affect cost and time. Consistency with the pattern library is the experience.
Collaboration & feedback
Design is a team effort — we don't have all the answers. Other perspectives catch what we miss, and keep the work inside scope and time.
